Program Highlights:
Jack Grote, a OSU graduate, born and raised in Delaware, and employed by GBQ Partners in the Area District, presented his Foundation, the Same Page Foundation, and his involvement with Easter Seals and Big Brothers Big Sisters. The Same Page Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based in Delaware, Ohio with the mission of “inspiring today’s children to become tomorrow’s leaders, one page at a time.” The organization was founded by Jack Grote and his mother, Gina, in August of 2016 and began serving the city’s children in January of 2017. The organization is partnered with the Liberty Community Center in Delaware and provides volunteers to read with the children at the center. A major focus of Same Page is the importance of one-on-one reading and its crucial role in early childhood development. Same Page truly believes that inspiring a love of reading at an early stage in a child’s life, they are helping to create a generation of passionate, intelligent and compassionate individuals. Easter Seals of Central and Southeastern Ohio focuses on helping the disabled. “Romancing the Grape” is a major fund raiser hosted on April 28.
